Maersk returns to Iran after 5 years

EghtesadOnline: International Maritime Transportation Company, the world’s largest carrier, has expressed its readiness to resume cooperation with Iran.

The cooperation between the Danish company and Iran was cut in 2012 due to the sanctions imposed on the country, but now after the international nuclear deal, Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, Maersk has voiced its readiness to return to Iran, reports ISNA.

Iran imports and exports products mainly via sea and now Maersk announced that its customers can send their cargo to Iran via sea by Maersk cargo ships.
