Rouhani says no limitation for Iran, Finland cooperation

EghtesadOnline: In a meeting with Finnish counterpart, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said both countries must benefit from the vast potentials to expand mutual ties in different fields.

Rouhani and Sauli Niinistö held a joint press conference in Tehran, where both sides stressed the necessity of boosting ties after the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Rouhani underlined that the meeting would pave the ground for better mutual, regional and international cooperation between Iran and Finland, adding the two countries have already started fruitful cooperation on economy and finance, reports ISNA.

Iran’s president referred to the EU willingness to boost ties with the country and said the European Union countries are interested to expand relations in different areas including science, economy, politics, tourism and technology.

Both sides also referred to regional issues and emphasized the importance of fighting terrorism as well as being united to maintain peace and security in the region.

Niinistö for his part stated that cooperation on economy can bring about solutions for stability in Middle East region.
