Minister: Russian market apt for Iranian exports

EghtesadOnline: Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi said Russian market is prepared to absorb Iranian exports.

Vaezi said here on Thursday that Turkry used to be very active in Russian market, but following some problems in relations between the two countries and after Iran's consultations with Russia, Moscow agreed to open Russian market to Iranian exporters.

According to IRNA, he added that exporters from Khuzestan province can use this opportunity and enter to Russian market.

Vaezi said the government is trying to decrease export tariffs and called for coopeartion of public and private sectors. 

Vaezi and Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare Ali Rabiee arrived in Khuzestan province on Thursday to sign a memorandum of understanding with private companies in the sector of ICT, launching several projects in communications, launching ICT complex in Khuzestan and visiting constructed infrastructures in Shalamche border terminal.
