Iran, Hungary to hold mutual committees

EghtesadOnline: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani met with the Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly Laszlo Kover here on Saturday.

President Rouhani referred to the deep and long relation between the two countries and said his government’s foreign policy is to expand the level of cooperation with friend states, especially with those in the EU.

Stressing the important role of the European Union in nuclear negotiations, President Rouhani stated that post-JCPOA era could be the best time to boost mutual cooperation.

According to ISNA, he called Iran a country with progressing economy, saying the country is taking great steps in implementation of different projects in various areas.

Mr. Rouhani underlined that Iran has signed numerous Memoranda of Understandings with many countries, adding Iran welcomes investors and companies from Hungary to open cooperation with domestic incorporates.

Laszlo Kover for his part highlighted the necessity of boosting bilateral relations in all areas, adding that Hungary is determined to increase trade ties with Iran.

He underlined that holding mutual committee would benefit both countries and stressed that both sides must develop ties in banking and energy.
