Chabahar port first priority in developing Iran-Afghanistan trade ties

EghtesadOnline: Governor General of Sistan and Baluchestan Province in a meeting with Afghan Vice President Abdullah Abdullah said that Chabahar's potential and its access to high seas are the first priorities in developing trade relations between two countries.

Ali Osat Hashemi referred to tourism commonalities between Iran and Afghanistan, saying that taking advantage of tourism capacities and creating joint tours would be effective in bolstering ties. 

According to IRNA, he called for creating joint dry ports as chances of development in the regions by using Sea of Oman and believed Milak border in Sistan and Baluchestan is a suitable spot to create the port.

He noted that the two countries will be able to make Nimruz Province as a developing trade exchange dock.

Abdullah Abdullah highlighted many many common views Iran and Afghanistan maintain in different fields and emphasized that they should work toward achieving the desired goals.
