Zionist Regime's military nuclear program, a major concern for world

EghtesadOnline: Iran’s Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Reza Najafi, said Israel's nuclear program is a major concern for the region and International communities.

Addressing the IAEA Board of Governors seasonal meeting, Najafi referred to the negative impacts of west's dual policy towards the Zionist Regime’s nuclear program on the security of the region and also the spirit of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

According to IRNA, he went on to remind the Board that the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) countries too have condemned the Zionist Regimes' nuclear weapon program.

He further urged the IAEA to pay serious attention to the issue and carry out necessary investigations of the matter.

The Iranian envoy also said that repeated requests by the international community which have come out in the format of the IAEA and Review Conference resolutions demand the Zionist Regime to promptly join the NPT which would entail the full observation of its nuclear installations by the NPT protocols.

He added that unfortunately the Zionist Regime over the past years has managed to develop its military nuclear program by ignoring the international community's request in clear violation of all international regulations.

The Iranian envoy severely criticized West's politicization of the issue and its dual behavior toward the problem, calling for the total prohibition of any cooperation and transfer of nuclear materials and equipment to the Zionist Regime.

He warned about the negative influences of such measures on the security of the region and the survival of the NPT as well.
