Iran FM says to pursue U.S. infringement of deal legally

EghtesadOnline: Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said his country would take legal actions against the U.S. infringement of the nuclear deal.

Zarif made his remarks after President Rouhani authorized him to pursue the U.S. infringement of the nuclear deal legally, according to ISNA.

In response to the U.S. renewal of the Iran Sanctions Act (ISA), President Rouhani authorized his top nuclear negotiators to take legal measures and also to begin developing a nuclear propulsion system used in marine transportation.

Under the deal, known formally as the JCPOA, Iran was guaranteed sanctions relief in exchange for pursuing a limited nuclear program.

President also asked the head of atomic energy organization Ali Akbar Salehi to study and design production of fuel to be used by the nuclear engine with the help of scientific and research centers.
