Iran to sign foreign investment deals worth 2 billion euro

EghtesadOnline: Iranian energy minister Hamid Chitchian announced Sunday the signing of foreign investment deals worth two billion euro March 2016-2017.

“After JCPOA, several delegations from different countries came to Iran and so far we received 10 to 15 billion dollar proposal for foreign investment,” he said during a press conference.

“Countries such as Russia, China, Korea, Japan, Turkey, Belgium, Denmark, Spain and England have already proposed their intentions to investment in water and electricity areas,” Chitchian added. “We are negotiating with some of these countries and concluding contracts with others. Moreover, some of contracts in the field of renewable energy entered the executive phase.”

“I can say the deals of foreign investment worth two billion euro will be signed by the middle of March,” ISNA quoted him as saying.
