Trump’s travel ban is illegal, inhumane: Iran’s Vice President

EghtesadOnline: The Trump’s travel ban was an illegal, inhumane and contrary to human rights effort, Iranian Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri insisted.

“The official reaction of Iran’s government to the US president Donald Trump’s order that barred Iranian nationals from entering the United State wouldn’t be without response and Tehran won’t issue visas for US citizens and will stand by Iranian citizens all over the world,” ISNA quoted him as saying.

“In the wake of this order, the human rights which US defined should be reviewed in international community, so the world knows what kind of system it faces,” Jahangiri added. “The Iranians are the most civilized people in the world. They play an important and productive role in the global civilization.”

“You can’t accuse Iranian people to supporting terrorism because they are victims of terrorism and after the Islamic revolution they have endured the most damage from terrorism. When terrorists with supports of US and some of regional countries tried to disrupt the security of people in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Libya and etc. Iran’s nation stood up and didn’t let the terrorists rooted in these countries, they have fought with terrorism and will keep on going on this way,” he continued.
