Followers of divine religions live peacefully in Iran: Spokesman

EghtesadOnline: Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said that followers of divine religions are living peacefully together in the country and Iran is honored to host followers of monotheistic and divine faiths.

In a meeting with followers of divine religions in Ferdowsi Hotel in the capital late on Sunday, he congratulated victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, saying that the cordial gathering indicates that followers of divine religions lead peaceful and problem-free lives in the country, IRNA reported.

“In such festivals, we can come together and show our peaceful lives in a small scale to the world,” he said, stressing that different ideas should be tolerated and respected.
