“Rouhani will leave Tehran for Muscat on Wednesday on the first leg of his tour at the invitation of Oman's Sultan Qaboos,” Iranian president's deputy chief of staff for communications and information Parviz Esmaeili said.
According to ISNA, he added that this one day visit is including Rouhani meeting with Sultan Qaboos behind a closed door and the meeting of senior delegations of the two countries.
“Rouhani will depart on the same day to Kuwait on the invitation of Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah. During this visit, Rouhani will hold talks with Kuwait's emir, prime minister, and foreign minister while delegations of the two countries also hold talks,” Esmaeili continued.
The Iranian president would wrap up his two-nation tour and return to the country Wednesday evening, the official said.
