Second Airbus 330 lands in Tehran

EghtesadOnline: The second aircraft bought from the French company “Airbus Group” officially landed in Mehrabad airport on Saturday to join Iran Air’s fleet.

The A330 officially landed in Mehrabad airport on Saturday after it was handed over in Toulouse, France on Friday to Iran Air’s officials to join a smaller A321 delivered to Iran earlier this year, ISNA reported.

Iran Air has taken delivery of its second Airbus A330 under nuclear sanctions deal with major powers.

Iran’s ministry of roads and urban development announced it hopes to receive the third Airbus A330 aircraft by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2017).
