The company started offering services in the northeastern holy city of Mashhad, capital of Khorasan Razavi Province, two weeks ago, following a successful performance in Tehran and Karaj. Two companies are already offering ride-hailing services in Mashhad, Cheetax and Touchsi. Alvai says, “The guild does not have anything against the ride-hailing services but both the company and the drivers working for it must have proper permits.” The guild says it is in charge of approving the drivers, vehicles, and rates for the service. This is while Tap30 and Snapp have been allowed to determine prices independently in other cities, Financial Tribune reported.
