Iranian deputy foreign minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari during a meeting with Qatari foreign minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani delivered the message of Rouhani to Qatari Emir, ISNA reported.
According to the reports, Jaberi Ansari paid a visit to Doha on Saturday.
Iran and Qatar have always had positive cultural, political and economic relations and their ties have been based on mutual interaction.
On June 5, Saudi Arabia severed all ties with Qatar, alleging that the country is a terrorist sponsor, a move that was followed by a few Arab countries, including Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.
Tehran believes that the crisis could only be settled through political peaceful means and engagement of the parties in transparent negotiations.
