'One of the newspapers of the country, published the story 'New details on JCPOA spy' on February 3 that is a clear lie one can see the falseness with a short look at the JCPOA text,' said a statement published on Saturday.
According to IRNA, the daily alleged that Abdolrasoul Dorri-Esfahani, introduced as a convicted spy that was part of the Iran nuclear negations team, has put article 16 at the order of the US, and claimed that the article contains Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on money laundering.
Article 16 of the JCPOA lays down, 'Iran will not engage in activities, including at the R&D level, that could contribute to the development of a nuclear explosive device, including uranium or plutonium metallurgy activities, as specified in Annex I.'
What's more, the whole JCPOA does not implicitly or explicitly mention the FATF, which shows that the allegation is baseless, read the statement.
