Trade-Off at TSE as IFX Ends 0.55% Lower

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 81.79 points or 0.08% to end Saturday trade at 98,429.7.

About 1 billion shares valued at $54.29 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Behshahr Industrial Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 3,802 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Sobhan Darou incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.79% to 3,714 rials per share.

Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Iran National Copper Industry Company and Iran Khodro Group.

Mobarakeh Steel Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Mellat Bank and Ghadir Investment Company

The Price Index gathered 26.10 points to close at 31,384.8.

The First Market Index was up 104.07 points to post 96,959.7. 

The Second Market Index lost 66.42 to reach 209,384.6.

The Industry Index gained 117.36 points to register 87,498.8.

The Free Float Index scored 86.73 points to hit 105,724.77.

The TSE 30 was up 5.65 points to settle at 4,369.1 while the TSE 50 added 5.80 points to finish at 4,109.5.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 6.13 points or 0.55% to close Saturday trade at 1,101.63.

About 650.15 million securities valued at $69.81 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company witnessed the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 263.730 million of its shares worth $4.99 million changed hands.

Ghasem Iran Company, Ballast Company and Esfahan Steel Company registered the highest value increase.

Shomal-e-Shargh-e-Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company, Etela Alborz Investment Company and Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
