TEDPIX Ends Tuesday Trade 0.38 Percent Lower

EghtesadOnline: T ehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 372.69 points or 0.38% on Tuesday compared to the day before to end trade at 96,748.

About 759 million shares valued at $27.84 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Saipa Diesel Company was the biggest riser, going up 4.99% to 884 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Fanavaran Petrochemical Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 5% to 31,064 rials per share.

Mobarakeh Steel Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Jam Petrochemical Company and Iran National Copper Industry Company.

Isfahan Oil Refining Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobin Petrochemical Company and Tehran Oil Refining Company.

The Price Index lost 118.14 points to close at 30,678.

The First Market Index was down 342.77 points to post 68,461.8. 

The Second Market Index shed 385.56 points to reach 207,398.4.

The Industry Index dropped 86,689.1 points to register 363.78.

The Free Float Index lost 401.35 points to end at 102,985.51.

The TSE 30 was down 30.12 points to settle at 4,325.2 and the TSE 50 gave up 20.31 to finish at 4,077.9.

 IFX Down 2%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 22.53 points or 2.05% to close Tuesday trade at 1,074.41.

About 135.3 million securities valued at $36.46 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 21.20 million of its shares changed hands.

Zagros Petrochemical Company registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $2.54 million.

Kerman Development and Construction Investment Company, Bahman Diesel Company and Bahman Leasing Company registered the highest value increase.

Rishmac Productive and Exports Company, Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Hormozgan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
