TEDPIX Ends Sunday Trade 0.5 Percent Lower

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 473.72 points or 0.5% on Sunday compared to the day before to end trade at 93,810.7.

About 697 million shares valued at $43.75 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Iran Sarma Afarin Industrial Company was the biggest riser, going up 7.64% to 3,113 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Iran Tire Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 5% to 2,433 rials per share.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Jam Petrochemical Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.

Iran National Copper Industry Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Iran Khodro Group and Abidi Pharmaceuticals.

The Price Index lost 150.06 points to close at 29,725. The First Market Index was down 223.37 points to post 66,717.8. 

The Second Market Index shed 1,599.30 points to reach 199,353.7. 

The Industry Index gave up 448.12 points to register 83,957.1. The Free Float Index dropped 435.46 points to end at 99,670.68. The TSE 30 was down 19.34 points to settle at 4,164.6 and the TSE 50 lost 20.72 points to finish at 3,949.1.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 3.61 points or 0.34% to close Sunday trade at 1,051.57.

About 138.3 million securities valued at $64.10 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 29.52 million of its shares were traded.

Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $502,846.

Pegah Fars Dairy Company, Pegah Golestan Dairy Company and KBC Company registered the highest value increase.

Zangan Zinc Industry Company, Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company and Kerman Development and Construction Investment Company suffered the biggest decline.

Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Iranol Oil Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
