TEDPIX Ends Sunday Trade 0.29 Percent Higher

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 274.54 points or 0.29% on Sunday compared to the day before to end trade at 94,165.6.

About 704 million shares valued at $34.15 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Hegmatan Cement Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 1,470 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Tolid Mavade Avallieh Daroupakhsh incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies, as it went down 4.99% to 4,776 rials per share.

Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by SAIPA Group and Jam Petrochemical Company.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company and Iran National Copper Industries Company. The Price Index gained 86.12 points to close at 29,541.8.

The First Market Index was up 156.10 points to post 66,994.6. The Second Market Index added 793.19 points to reach 199,978.2. The Industry Index scored 256.79 points to register 84,381.4. The Free Float Index gained 417.64 points to hit 100,260.88. The TSE 30 was up 8.52 points to settle at 4,187.5 and the TSE 50 gained 6.95 points to finish at 3,965.6.

 IFX Up 7.75 Points

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 7.75 points or 0.72% to close Sunday trade at 1,081.8.

About 348.19 million securities valued at $48.80 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 57.05 million of its shares were traded.

Zagros Petrochemical Company registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $2.87 million.

Sobhan Oncology Company, Shahed Construction and Development Company and Behpak Industrial Company registered the highest value increase.

Saman Insurance, Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company and Lar Sabzevar Cement Company suffered the biggest decline.

Zagros Petrochemical Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Arfa Steel Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
