TSE Benchmark Inches Up

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 78.34 points or 0.08% on Saturday to end trading at 96,077.1.

About 955 million shares valued at $49.29 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Saman Electronic Payment Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 6,825 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.

Iran Aluminum Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.97% to 1,951 rials per share. 

Iran National Copper Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and SAIPA Group.

The Price Index gained 24.36 points to close at 29,811.7.

The First Market Index was up 87.42 points to post 69,232. 

The Second Market Index lost 2.28 points to reach 199.315.7.

The Industry Index gathered 71.59 points to register 86,239.4.

The Free Float Index was up 210.26 points to hit 105,551.03.

The TSE 30 scored 9.84 point to settle at 4,531.1 and the TSE 50 dropped 1.69 points to finish at 4,041.8.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 4.23 points or 0.38% to close Saturday trade at 1,107.4.

About 354.13 million securities valued at $46.41 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 26.94 million of its shares changed hands.

Hormozgan Steel Company registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $975,740.

Sabzevar Lar Cement Company, Zangan Zinc Industry Company and Shahr-e-Kord Zagros Meat & Dairy Company registered the highest value increase.

Goldashte Nemone Agri & Livestock Company, Minoo Group and Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Esfahan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
