TEDPIX Ends Sunday Trade 0.17 Percent Lower

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 161.11 points or 0.17% on Sunday to end trading at 95,916.

About 821 million shares valued at $53.27 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Navard va Ghataat Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 6,723 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.

Borujerd Textile Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.98% to 3,682 rials per share. 

Mobarakeh Steel Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Isfahan Oil Refining Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.

Jam Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Telecommunications Company of Iran and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.

The Price Index lost 49.94 points to close at 29,761.7. The First Market Index was down 216.35 points to post 69,015.7. 

The Second Market Index gained 202.91 points to reach 199.517.9. The Industry Index dropped 173.72 points to register 86,065.6. The Free Float Index was down 184.61 points to end at 105,366.39.

The TSE 30 lost 23.91 point to settle at 4,507.2 and the TSE 50 dropped 12.21 points to finish at 4,029.6.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 2.82 points or 0.25% to close Sunday trade at 1,104.58.

About 696.69 million securities valued at $46.80 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 341.24 million of its shares worth $6.90 million changed hands.

Pakdis Company, Parsian Rail Transport Development Company and Mavad Vizhe Lia Company registered the highest value increase.

Tadbirgaran-e Fars and Khuzestan, KBC and Ghasem Iran Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Pasargad Oil Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
