TEDPIX Breaks Above 112,000 to Notch New High

EghtesadOnline: T ehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 2,659.33 points or 2.43% on Sunday to end trading at 112,060.7.

This is an all-time high for the benchmark, as it has been rallying consistently in recent days.

About 2.65 billion shares valued at $183.24 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday, according to Financial Tribune.

Negin Tabas Coal Company was the biggest riser, going up 17.8% to 3,567 rials per share.

Towlide Fibre Iran Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.95% to 5,976 rials per share. 

Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Khuzestan Steel Company and Iran National Copper Industries Company.

Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Saman Electronic Payment Company.

The Price Index gained 813.04 points to close at 34,258.2.

The First Market Index was up 2,432.36 points to post 82,383.6. The Second Market Index scored 2,802.37 points to reach 223,841.4. The Industry Index gathered 2,591.35 points to register 101,558. The Free Float Index was up 3,352.90 points to hit 123,657.86. The TSE 30 added 191.93 point to settle at 5,521.9 and the TSE 50 rose by 131.49 points to finish at 4,787.4.

 IFX Down 1.4%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 17.91 points or 1. 4% to close Sunday trade at 1,258.26.

About 589.21 million securities valued at $61.61 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Persian Gulf Mining Industries Holding Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 129.97 million of its shares worth $8.47 million were traded respectively.

Shomal-e-Shargh-e-Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Goldashte Nemone Agri & Livestock Company registered the highest value increase.

Minoo Group, Kowsar Bank and Behpak Industrial Company suffered the biggest decline.

Kowsar Bank, Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company and Tourism Bank had the most negative impact on IFX.
