TEDPIX Ends Monday Trade 1.14 Percent Higher

EghtesadOnline: T ehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 1,242.97 points or 1.14% on Monday to end trading at 109,937.1.

About 951 million shares valued at $67.45 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Alumrad Company was the biggest riser, going up 5% to 6,531 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Glass and Gas Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.93% to 4,203 rials per share. 

Mobarakeh Steel Company of Iran gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Iran National Copper Industry Company.

Jam Petrochemical Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Jam Petrochemical Company and Pardis Petrochemical Company.

The Price Index gained 377.58 points to close at 33,390.7.

The First Market Index was up 1,043.68 points to post 80,491. 

The Second Market Index scored 1,823.53 points to reach 221,350.5.

The Industry Index gathered 1,235.27 points to register 99,539.5. The Free Float Index gained 1,450.02 points to hit 120,792.92.

The TSE 30 was up 90.66 point to settle at 5,371.3 and the TSE 50 ended 63.93 points higher to finish at 4,691.5.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 0.28 points or 0.02% to close Monday trade at 1,230.76.

About 663.97 million securities valued at $67.85 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 205.77 million of its shares worth $6.12 million changed hands.

East Azarbaijan Pegah Company, Iranian Reinsurance Company and Hotel Parsian Kowsar registered the highest value increase.

Hekmat Iranian Bank, Kharazmi IT Development Company and Kowsar Insurance suffered the biggest decline.

Zagros Petrochemical Company, Arfa Steel Company and Khorasan Petrochemical Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
