TEDPIX Posts Fresh Gains

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 2,409.37 points or 2.19% on Tuesday to end trading at 112,346.5.

About 1.47 billion shares valued at $95.12 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex was the biggest riser, going up 7.31% to 5,004 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.

Alvand Tile and Ceramic Industries Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.89% to 3,972 rials per share. 

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company and Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex.

Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Iran Khodro Group and Behpardakht Mellat Company.

The Price Index gained 731.43 points to close at 34,102.

The First Market Index was up 2,002.66 points to post 82,493.6. 

The Second Market Index scored 3,602.52 points to reach 224,952.5.

The Industry Index gathered 2,397.97 points to register 101,937.4.

The Free Float Index gained 2,509.11 points to hit 123,302.06.

The TSE 30 was up 157 point to settle at 5,528.3 and the TSE 50 ended 123.62 points higher to finish at 4,815.1.

 IFX Up 1.58%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 19.59 points or 1.58% to close Tuesday trade at 1,250.26.

About 615.41 million securities valued at $98.31 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares, as 171.31 million of its shares were traded.

Pars Paper Industries Group registered the highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $55.13 million.

Afranet Company, Saina Company and Arfa Steel Company registered the highest value increase.

Tadbirgaran-e Fars and Khuzestan, Iranian Reinsurance Company and Tuka Refractories suffered the biggest decline.

Zagros Petrochemical Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
