TEDPIX Ends Week at 112,490

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 143.62 points or 0.13% on Wednesday to end trading at 112,490.1.

About 1.83 billion shares valued at $103.63 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

North Drilling Company was the biggest riser, going up 6.81% to 2,102 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Fars Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.99% to 5,679 rials per share. 

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex.

Isfahan Oil Refining Company of Iran was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company and Civil Pension Fund Investment Company.

The Price Index gained 43.63 points to close at 34,145.6.

The First Market Index was up 115.28 points to post 82,608.8. 

The Second Market Index scored 237.12 points to reach 225,189.1.

The Industry Index gathered 117.58 points to register 102,054.6.

The Free Float Index lost 19.48 points to end at 123,282.55.

The TSE 30 was up 2.80 point to settle at 5,531.1 and the TSE 50 ended 9.95 points higher to finish at 4,825.1.

 IFX Up 0.21%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 2.58 points or 0.21% to close Wednesday trade at 1,252.84.

About 503.87 million securities valued at $70.23 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 197.15 million of its shares worth $6.26 were traded.

Kerman Development and Construction Investment Company, Arfa Steel Company and Saina Company registered the highest value increase.

Shomal-e-Shargh-e-Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company, Sabzevar Lar Cement Company and Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company suffered the biggest decline.

Zagros Petrochemical Company, Marun Petrochemical Company and Arfa Steel Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
