TEDPIX Sheds 329 Points in Tuesday Trading

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 329.39 points or 0.3% on Tuesday to end trading at 107,780.6.

About 1.59 billion shares valued at $107.19 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Lent Tormoz Iran Company was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 9.96% to 3,819 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.

Tehran Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.94% to 1,288 rials per share.

Pars Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Iran National Copper Industry Company and Mobin Petrochemical Company.

The Price Index lost 98.64 points to close at 32,303.5. The First Market Index was down 399.17 points to post 77,906.3. The Second Market Index added 87.94 points to reach 221,796.9. The Industry Index shed 314.02 points to register 97,455. The Free Float Index gave up 529.84 points to end at 116,820.69. The TSE 30 was down 36.22 point to settle at 5,130.1 and the TSE 50 ended 28.39 points lower to finish at 4,558.3.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX shed 5.76 points or 0.47% to close Tuesday trade at 1,209.65.

About 202 million securities valued at $63.12 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Binalvand Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 44.27 million of its shares worth $2.04 million were traded.

Binalvand Company, Rishmac Productive and Exports Company and Shahr-e-Kord Zagros Meat & Dairy Company registered the highest value increase.

Asia Zarin Madan Company, Afranet Company and Hotel Parsian Kowsar suffered the biggest decline.

Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Marun Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
