TEDPIX Ends Sunday Trade 0.49 Percent Higher

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 535.28 points or 0.49% on Sunday to end trading at 108,830.8.

About 1.34 billion shares valued at $170.66 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday.

Iran National Copper Industry Company was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 5% to 2,625 rials per share, Financial Tribune reported.

Shiraz Petrochemical Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.99% to 2,779 rials per share.

Iran National Copper Industry Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex and Khorasan Steel Company.

Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Shiraz Petrochemical Company and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.

The Price Index gained 159.90 points to close at 32,499.6.

The First Market Index was up 511.41 points to post 78,499. 

The Second Market Index added 511.46 points to reach 224,749.5. The Industry Index scored 518.81 points to register 98,388.6. The Free Float Index gathered 699.49 points to hit 117,866.85. The TSE 30 was up 42.84 point to settle at 5,183.5 and the TSE 50 ended 29.81 points higher to finish at 4,605.2.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX added 8.62 points or 0.71% to close Sunday trade at 1,222.37.

About 127.31 million securities valued at $115.76 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares, as 14.13 million of its shares changed hands.

Arfa Steel Company registered highest trade value, with the trading of shares worth $1.06 million.

Pasargad Oil Company, Rishmac Productive and Exports Company and Sina Port and Marine Company registered the highest value increase.

Chaharmahal Food Products and Sugar Company, Pakdis Company and Tolid Darou Pharmaceutical Company suffered the biggest decline.

Hormozgan Steel Company, Arfa Steel Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
