TEDPIX Loses Gains

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 157,328.7 points or 0.47% on Tuesday to end trading in last week at 157,328.7.

About 3.61 billion shares valued at $81.86 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends on Wednesday. The two exchanges were closed this Wednesday due to national holidays.

Damavand Mining Company was the biggest winner, as its shares went up 14.9% to 43,996 rials per share. Shiraz Petrochemical Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.94% to 5,617 rials per share. Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company was the biggest laggard behind the benchmark’s fall, followed by Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company, Financial Tribune reported.

MAPNA Group gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobin Petrochemical Company and Fajr Petrochemical Company.

The Price Index lost 217.22 points to close at 45,982.1.

The First Market Index was down 635.46 points to post 116,185.5. 

The Second Market Index added 1,054.35 points to reach 311,992.7.

The Industry Index decreased by 814.56 points to register 143,231.4.

The Free Float Index was down 456.34 points to hit 168,060.60.

The TSE 30 went down 96.12 point to settle at 7,532.1 and the TSE 50 ended 57.94 points lower to finish at 6,743.7.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX gained 32.37 points or 1.16% to close Tuesday trade at 1,858.57.

About 801.73 million securities valued at $53.95 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value, as 109.73 million of its shares worth $2.34 million were traded.

Shomal-Gharb Housing Investment Company, Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company, and Shomal-e-Shargh-e-Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company registered the highest value increase.

Shiraz Oil Refining Company, Khorasan Petrochemical Company and Iran & Shargh Leasing Company suffered the biggest decline.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company and Damavand Power Generation Company had the most positive impact on IFX.
