Training and Repair Services Available Online

EghtesadOnline: A new startup has been launched in Tehran that offers a variety of services from repairing home appliances and electronics to educational material and online courses.

Dubbed Chibaki (meaning what, by who) the startup aims to connect teachers, trainers and service providers with end users. The services are offered through chibaki.ir and a mobile application with the same name available for Android and iOS devices. The app can be downloaded from Chibaki’s website.

Users can find language teachers, art mentors, personal sports trainers and more. Furthermore, Chibaki lists mechanics, repair service providers and computer repair technician, Webna news website reported.

Services and training courses are categorized in different groups on the website and application. Chibaki also has a search toolbar on which users can easily find the services they want, according to Financial Tribune.

Chibaki does not charge service providers and users and its revenues come from advertisement space it sells on its website.

There are a dozen firms in Iran offering online courses and as many providing on-demand repair services. However, Chibaki is the first that offers both services via a single platform.

Pouyanesh (pouyanesh.com) is another startup offering training courses from basic sciences and engineering to music and the arts. Coursea (coursea.ir) is a startup that lists online courses. Zoombook (Zoomb.ir) and Sneeds (sneeds.ir) sell educational material and workbooks as well as guidebooks for students.

Startups offering on-demand repair services include  Ostadkar, Achareh, Cleanx, and Sanjaq.
