It included 120 antique and classic cars, mostly produced by American and European companies from the 1970s to 1990s.
The vintage four-wheelers took two paths, one starting from the cultural and historical complex of Saadabad in the north of the capital and the other from Shams Palace, also known as Pearl Palace, on the southwestern flank of Alborz Province, ISNA reported.
Showing up on busy roads and flaunting in front of the public, the two groups of cars finally met at Niavaran Palace Complex in the northeast. The classic cars were escorted by a group of motorists from the club and Traffic Police, according to Financial Tribune.
It was the fourth rally of its kind held by TACI. Unlike regular rallies, this event was not about speed and was aimed at showing the unique cars in public.
Interestingly, all the rallies held so far by the club came as a surprise to the public as they were held without prior notice.
