TSE’s benchmark index, TEDPIX, soared 919 points on Wednesday to end trading at 203,777 points.
Under excessive selloff pressure, the benchmark index had lost 1,464 points Tuesday.
Tehran Stock Exchange main index TEDPIX gained 919.76 points or 0.45% Wednesday to end trading at 203,777.12, according to Financial Tribune.
More than 7.4 billion shares valued at 12.458 trillion rials ($89.62 million) changed hands for the day.
Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Iran Tractor Foundry Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 5% to 5,481 rials per share.
Shahd Sugar Company, incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5% to 13,968 rials per share.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Saderat Bank gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tejarat Bank and Fajr Petrochemical Company.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company annually produces over 15 million tons of concentrate and 10 million tons of pellets and is the largest producer of the two products.
Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Persian Gulf Chemical Industry Company and Mines and Metals Development Investment Company.
MMDIC is a leading regional mining and metals group that focuses on exploring, mining, processing and marketing the mineral resources and metallic products.
The Price Index gained 265.05 points to close at 58,727.6. The Industry Index went up by 455.55 points to register 183,182.6.
First Market Index was up 828.04 points to post 152,907. Second Market Index increased by 1,125.32 points to reach 392,641.3.
Free Float Index was up 1,444.15 points to register 230,310.39. The TSE 30 went up 23.59 points to settle at 9,975.6 and the TSE 50 gained 15.85 points to finish at 8,596.1.
Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX rose 0.54% to close Saturday trade at 2,493.35 points.
Over 1.3 billion securities valued at 4.51 trillion rials ($32.47 million) were traded at the junior exchange for the day.
