EghtesadOnline: The main gauge of Tehran Stock Exchange fell more than 760 points on Sunday as investor sentiments for buying shares abated following a weeklong bullish market.

TSE’s main index TEDPIX declined 0.28% for the day to end trading at 269,225.3.

About 5.35 billion shares valued at 17.03 trillion rials ($148.1 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday, according to Financial Tribune.

Omran Fars Company, active in the construction industry, was the biggest winner as its shares went up 11.95% to 2,146 rials per share. 

Pars International Manufacturing Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.82% to 9,621 rials per share.

Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company, Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Iran Khodro Company (IKCO).

Tamin Petroleum & Petrochemical Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Sadr Tamin Investment Company of Iran, and Iran Chemical Industries Investment Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 27.88 points or 0.78% to close Sunday trade at 3,561.56.

About 1.72 billion securities valued at 11.53 trillion rials ($100.3 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares as 157.30 million of its shares worth 253.14 billion rials ($2.2 million) were traded.

Damavand Power Generation Company, Esfahan Steel Company and Lavan Oil Refining Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

Marun Petrochemical Complex gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Ghasem Iran Company (active in consumer products distribution industry), and Khazar Sea Shipping Lines Company.
