TSE's main index TEDPIX gained 2,703.15 points, or 0.88%, for to end trading at 308,477.2. The market on Monday saw its biggest rally in ten days.
The market featured rising prices for shares of 255 companies, which indicate 83% of all listed companies ended trade in positive territory.
Growth in equal-weighted index was higher at 2.4%, indicating heavier weight of demands for the stocks of small and medium sized companies, according to Financial Tribune.
The index is a type of weighting that gives the same weight, or importance, to each stock and the smallest companies are given equal weight as the largest ones.
About 2.99 billion shares valued at 15.56 trillion rials ($129.72 million) changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Alborz Darou Pharmaceutical Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 9.96% to 12,818 rials per share.
Iran Carton Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.04 % to 52,177 rials per share.
Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Tehran Oil Refining Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company and MAPNA Group.
Informatics Services Corporation gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Iran Khodro Company (IKCO), Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company and Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran.
The Price Index gained 724.24 points, or 0.88% to close at 82,641.0.
The First Market Index increased 1,458.61 points, or 0.66% to post 221,601.6. Second Market Index increased by 7,778.72 points, or 1.23% to reach 639,023.7.
The Industry Index increased by 2,141.13 points or 0.78% to register 275,968.1. The Free Float Index was up 3,910.27 points to hit 360,231.96.
TSE 30 gained 11.08 points to settle at 13,073.0 and the TSE 50 ended 32.01 points higher to finish at 11,904.0.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 45.79 points or 1.16% to close Monday trade at 3,992.26.
About 986.66 million securities valued at 12.36 trillion rials ($103.04 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Zagros Petrochemical Company, MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Generation Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company and Kerman Development Investment Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Esfahan Steel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Marun Petrochemical Company, Iran Office Machines Industries and Kowsar Insurance.
