Tehran Stocks Rise 0.4%

EghtesadOnline: The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, rose 2,032.07 points, or 0.48%, on Sunday to end trading at 428,217.0.

Almost 7.59 billion shares valued at 37.31 trillion rials ($278.4 million) changed hands for the day, Financial Tribune reported.

Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Zamyad Company (auto manufacturer) was the biggest winner as its shares went up 10.14% to 3,064 rials per share.

Esfahan Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5% to 64,556 rials per share.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by MAPNA Group, Mines and Metals Development Investment Company and Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran.

The National Iranian Copper Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company, SAIPA Automaker Company and Telecommunication Company of Iran.

 

IFX Flat 

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX ended flat, gaining 0.76 points, or 0.01%, to close Sunday trade at 5,415.97.

About 2.48 billion securities valued at 18.11 trillion rials ($135.21 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange.

Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value as 451.46 million of its shares worth 1.09 trillion rials ($8.18 million) were traded.

Marun Petrochemical Company, Kowsar Insurance Company, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

Esfahan Steel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iran Fara Bourse, Hormozgan Steel Company and Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company.
