EghtesadOnline: A total of 22 tons of mushroom compost worth $5,000 were exported from Dezful in Khuzestan Province to Armenia during the week ending May 1.

Mohammad Qaseminejad, an official with Khuzestan Agricultural Organization, estimates the export of a total of 1,200 tons of mushroom compost worth $265,000 to Armenia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and other destinations by the end of the current Iranian year (March 2021), IRNA reported.

Compost is an organic matter decomposed in a process that recycles various organic materials regarded as waste products and produces a soil conditioner. It is rich in nutrients.
