“Four years into the inception of this taskforce, about 30% of government buildings have received technical inspection certificates,” he was quoted as saying by IRNA, adding that the figure is expected to rise to 40% by March 2021.
Noting that according to the statistics by Tehran Fire Department, there are more than 200 building complexes with high-risk safety hazards, Khojastehfar said, “Our on-site inspection is aimed at verifying the compliance with technical specifications, including the buildings’ electricity and mechanical facilities, their architecture, facade and structures.”
