After the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the government banned reception halls from holding wedding and memorial ceremonies, or any other event gathering a large number of people.
Reception halls are not allowed to charge penalties for cancellation or for changing dates following the outbreak of coronavirus, Ebrahiminia said in February.
He called on the public to file a complaint with the union, if they encounter any violation on the part of reception halls.
