TCCIM to Hold 4 Specialized Courses in Oct.-Nov.

EghtesadOnline: The Education and Human Resources Institute, affiliated with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, is scheduled to hold four specialized courses on global trade, negotiation psychology, payments during sanctions and commerce.

The first course titled “Global Marketing Principles and Post-Covid-19 Trade Opportunities” is scheduled for Oct. 6 and 13 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Topics such as market studies, introduction to market structure, identifying potential high-profit markets and their trade capacities, market fluctuation prediction techniques, setting target markets and techniques for analyzing unstable and high-risk markets will be covered during the course that will be held online due to health reasons concerning the novel coronavirus pandemic, the news portal of TCCIM reported.  

The second specialized course titled "Negotiation Psychology" is scheduled to run for 8 hours on Oct. 4 and 11 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The course will be held on Sundays. Topics to be covered during this course include negotiation and communication, decision-making processes, emotional quotient, self-confidence and self-esteem, different layers of communication and effective factors, different types of negotiation, how to communicate effectively and various required skills. 

Next is a webinar titled “Payments and Financial Transactions at the Time of Sanctions and Survey of International Sanctions” and scheduled for Nov. 7 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Topics such as sanctions terminology and concepts, the analysis and comparison of trade patterns during the sanctions imposed before JCPOA and after the US unilateral pullout from the deal, separate surveys of sanctions imposed by the US, the United Nations and the European Union, caution areas, feasibility of using blockchains and digital currencies in the trade of sanctioned commodities.

The fourth specialized course titled "Comprehensive Commerce " is scheduled to start on Nov. 7 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The course will cover international commerce, HS commodity categorization, incoterms 2020 (world’s essential trade terms), import and export procedures, international transportation, customs regulations, international trade contracts, payments and negotiations, as well as opening LCs.
