“Land under cold climate fruits and nuts cultivation has reached 3 million hectares, 2.57 million hectares of which bear fruit,” Darab Hassani was also quoted as saying by Mehr News Agency.
Hassani added that cold climate fruits include seeded fruits such as apple, pear, quince, hawthorn and common medlar and stone fruits like peach, nectarines, cherries, apricot and plum.
