About 4.66 billion shares valued at 29.18 trillion rials ($100.64 million) changed hands at TSE for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Navard Aluminum Manufacturing Group Company was the main winner as its shares went up 6.88% to 26,420 rials per share.
Iranian Leasing Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5.86% to 2,714 rials per share.
Pasargad Bank contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company and Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company.
Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Amin Investment Bank, Pars National Agro-Industry and Animal Husbandry Company and Tuka Steel Investment Company.

About 3.89 billion securities valued at 75.79 trillion rials ($261.3m) were traded at the junior exchange for the day.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Bahman Diesel Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company, and Day Bank had the most negative impact on IFX.
MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Generation Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Maadiran Industries Company, Chaharmahal Food Products and Sugar Company and Rail Pardaz Seir Company.
