According to ISNA, Iran’s status grew by 12 point based on Times ranking, he said, adding seven faculty members of the university in chemistry, mechanics, development engineering and mathematics were enlisted as highly-cited professors.
Based on Times 2016 ranking published on June 20, the Iranian university stands 57th among 200 top Asian universities, he said.
Iran’s University of Science and Technology stood 69th in 2015, he said, adding the ranking is based on education, research, citation, industrial avenue and international reputation.
