Speaking to IRNA, Amiri said, 'Identity of the assassins – whether they are bandits or belong to other groups – is not clear for us and the security and disciplinaty forces are looking for them.'
He said that at 14 hours pm a delegation of officials from Kermanshah province along with MP from Islamabad and Dalahu as well as governor of Dalahu were on their way to probe problems of the local people when they became target to assassination bid in Rijab region.
He said that the assassins opened fire on the governor from inside a Peugeot Pars car.
'Unfortunately, in the incident, the driver and one of the passengers of the car were martyred and the governor was shot in the stomach. The MP from Islamabad and Dalahu suffered minor injury as he was taking out of the car.'
He said that Farzad Fazli, Director General of Fisheries Department in Kermanshah Province was shot in the leg.
