Swedish firms keen on joint venture investment in Iran

EghtesadOnline: Swedish firms like other reputable companies from other countries is keen on joint venture investment in Iran in post-JCPOA period.

President and CEO of Swedish Scania Group Henrik Henriksson said that Iran has important economic capacities and Scania, like other reputable companies is ready to sign contracts of joint venture investment with Iranian partners, IRNA reports.
Henriksson made the remarks during visit of Semnan Oghab Afshan Company, manufacturer of Scania buses in Iran.
He said that Scania is offering its products in more than 100 countries, but, Iran has special capabilities in bus industry.
Henriksson said that Scania is well-known manufacturer of buses in the world.
He said that upon planning and cooperation between Iranian important carmakers with Scania, buses produced by Oghab Afshan Company in Semnan will be exported to European and West Asian countries until the end of current Iranian year (March 20).
He said that Iran will be a major economic hub in Asia in next several years .
Oghab Afshan Company is producing more than 700 buses annually.
