According to ISNA, Indian officials and Iranian Ambassador to New Delhi Gholamreza Ansari were present in the ceremony.
The festival will display 14 recent Iranian movies in a three-day period.
Ansari pointed to the cultural, historical and lingual record of Iran and India, and said, “Holding different festivals are one of ways for familiarization and increasing transactions between the two big countries of Iran and India.
