Tehran University to broaden cooperation with Australian universities

EghtesadOnline: Executive Officer Growth and Emerging Markets Division of Australian Trade Commission Chris Bandy met on Saturday with Director General for International Cooperation of Tehran University Abdolmajid Eskandari on ways to develop academic cooperation.

According to IRNA, Chris Bandy said the scientific representative of Australia is now stationed at Australian embassy in Tehran to help facilitate exchange of university students and instructors along with setting up joint venture academic and educational cooperation.

Australian trade division (Austrade) newly reopened in Tehran.

The two sides examined the record of scientific and academic cooperation of Tehran and Australian universities and studied grounds to broaden scope of cooperation.

The visiting Australian academic called for removal of the existing challenges in water, energy, environment as well as education management within a scientific framework cooperation. 

They studied grounds for establishing contacts between secretariat of top Iranian universities with eight top Australian universities.
