Iran, China to expand industrial, mineral cooperation

EghtesadOnline: An Iranian trade official said that Iran and China are going to expand bilateral cooperation in mineral, industrial and investment.

Iran and China signed a number of agreements during Chinese president’s previous visit to Iran, said Director General of Iranian Trade Promotion Organization for Asia and Oceania, Mojtaba Mousavian.

According to ISNA, one of the agreements named boosting industrial, mineral and investment cooperation was signed by Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammard-Reza Nemat-Zadeh and the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China (NDRC).

The MoU aims to form a workgroup to boost cooperation in this field. 20 projects were defined in the workgroup, Mousavian said.

He said the two sides have made everything clear about 9 projects.

“Accordingly, we are entering into the phase of boosting  industrial, mineral and investment cooperation between Iran and China.”
