Spokesman of Parliamentary Commission on National Security and Foreign Policy Hossein Naqavi Hosseini quoted the defense minister as saying that the Ministry reached self –sufficiency in production of the needed equipment of Navy and confirmed delivery of S-300 missile defense system and its installation.
Talking about commission meeting in presence of Brigadier-General Dehqan, Naqavi quoted the minister as saying that the Ministry has designed radars and produced them and planned to put Simorgh Satellite into the orbit.
Dehqan presented a report on development of missiles, ammunition, submarines, vessels and electronic industries.
Head of the Commission Alaeddin Borujerdi appreciated services of the defense ministry rank-and-file.
