EghtesadOnline: Spokesman of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi said Iranian envoy to the IAEA would send a message of protest to the IAEA over disclosure of Iranian confidential long-term nuclear program.

Some parts of the program were to remain confidential but were published; this is information leak, Iran believes it has leaked from the agency, he said.

Similarly, Head of the AEOI, Ali-Akbar Salehi, referred to the issue, and said they accessed the confidential document of the agreement between Iran and the P5 + 1, reports ISNA.

"According to the Additional Protocol (to the NPT), we wrote our long-term nuclear program, once adopted by the Supreme Council of National Security of Iran, we gave it to the IAEA," Salehi said.

According to Salehi, Iran had called on the agency to keep the program confidential and transfer it to the joint committee in charge of the JCPOA in a confidential manner.
