Iran, s. Korea naval cooperation meeting underway in Busan

EghtesadOnline: The second naval cooperation commission meeting of Iran and South Korea is being hosted by Busan, South Korea.

A delegation of Iranian naval experts is attending the meeting.

During the meeting, Director of Iranian Marine Industries Technology Development Council Mohammad-Saeed Seif said South Korea is interested in working with Iranian marine industrial and technology centers, according to ISNA.

The meeting is focusing on approaches for development and executing joint cooperation in marine field, he said.

He also expressed satisfaction over developing and executing the concluded agreements between the two sides.

The first round of meeting between the two sides was held in Tehran in May.

South Korean MNU SURF R&D Center signed deals with Iran in designing vessels, offshore constructions, marine facilities, deep water technology, renewable marine energies, marine and environmental robots, fisheries, marine logistic, marine transportation and ports.
