Iranian parliamentary delegation held a meeting with Speaker of Pakistan National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq in Islamabad to review ways to develop parliamentary ties, according to IRNA.
The Pakistani speaker welcomed the invitation by his Iranian counterpart, saying that he would like to visit Iran in a few months.
The Iranian delegation thanked hospitality of Pakistan and appreciated Pakistan’s effort to host current conference of Asian Parliamentary Assembly on Sustainable Economic Development.
The Iranian delegation is visiting Pakistan to participate in the two-day conference.
The meeting touched on issues being faced by the Asian continent in the process of economic and social development.
